We had an amazing stay at Juda Homestay in Banyuwangi! The rooms were clean and beautiful, with windows on two sides. The AC and wifi worked well, and the bathroom had lovely plants. We loved the terrace overlooking the garden. The entire place was well maintained by the owner, Juda. The Indonesian breakfast he prepared was delicious, and we enjoyed the nasi goreng and veggies soup. The taxi tour to Mt. Ijen was cheaper than others, and we appreciated the nearby cheap warung and shop. we highly recommend this homestay for its hospitality and great facilities.
One minor drawback was that we could occasionally hear the nearby mosques throughout the day. However, this didn't significantly impact our overall experience.

The decoration at Juda Homestay is charming and cozy, with beautiful plants and flowers that create a peaceful atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the well-maintained pathways and easy accessibility throughout the property. It was a delight to walk around and enjoy the serene surroundings.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there for senior guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Juda Homestay for two nights while visiting the Ijen crater. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage and a decent sized TV. Juda, the owner, was the perfect host, always on hand to provide tea, coffee, or water and even cooked us breakfast every day. He arranged a tour to the crater and went above and beyond by waking up at 2am to give us fried banana and coffee before our adventure. The wifi was excellent and we were able to stream movies. we highly recommend this hotel.
100% Recommend this hotel.

We got incredible value for our money at Juda Homestay. The room was perfect - clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was convenient, close to the train station, and the staff treated us like family.
Breakfast selection could have been better, but that's a minor issue compared to all the other great things about our stay.
